Why Common Paper
Rather than write bespoke DPA language from scratch, Geod uses the Common Paper Data Processing Agreement (Standard Terms v1.1), a free, publicly reviewable template drafted by a committee of privacy attorneys and used widely across SaaS. You and your legal team can read the exact terms before we ever exchange an email. Executing it just adds a short Cover Page naming the parties, subprocessors, and applicable transfer mechanism.
Request package includes
- A signed DPA built on the Common Paper Data Processing Agreement (Standard Terms v1.1), reviewable in full before you ever contact us
- A completed Cover Page naming Geod as Processor, your organization as Controller, and the current subprocessor list
- Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/UK data transfers where required
- Security contact and incident response escalation guide
